• Support MMD Capital projects with delivery of PCS, PLC-SCADA, BMS and/or Data Historian systems.
• Focus on realizing basis of design reflected project Automation/IT scope by driving development and
verification of vendor delivered systems into MSD system landscape, covering all functional, technical
and documentation aspects.
• Reporting to the Digital MMD Project Lead.
• Candidate will be required to work closely with local and global Digital MMD teams as well external
equipment vendors and system integrators.
Responsibilities:
• Creation/review of requirements specifications for project scope Automation/IT systems.
• Review and approve of design/development documentation generated by system supplier/integrator in
conjunction with project User Representatives and Digital MMD Design Lead.
• Assist in integration Automation Systems in MSD landscape, both IT infrastructure and Data interfaces.
• Witness and assist with Automation/IT development testing with system vendor (CQV/CSV).
• Monitors and drives operational execution of targeted work package from MSD perspective and reports
status/progress to Digital MMD Project Lead.
• Partner with MSD internal Automation/IT and Quality departments ensuring system functional,
technical and quality implementation in line with and MSD standards.
• Solution driven Team player with Analytical mindset, capable to combine the generation of automation
scope content and delivery management tasks.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar Manufacturing Automation/IT systems delivery role.
• Demonstrated experience with process automation and data acquisition systems, ISA 95 level 2/3.
(PCS, PLC-SCADA, Data Historian, preferably Siemens, Zenon and/or Aveva/OsiSoft PI oriented)
• Understanding of Automation/IT networks and ESX hardware virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of compliance and associated documentation guidelines in regulated industries, or willing to
acquire (GxP, GAMP, SDLC)
• Professional level of verbal and writing skills, English mandatory, Dutch optional.
• Strong communication skills and coordinating with vendor and business stake holders.
• Hybrid working: Minimum 3,5 days per week onsite MSD Boxmeer and/or travelling to Vendor location.
• Excellent facilitation, problem solving, decision making, therewith project catalysing skills.
