The Matillion Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Matillion on Redshift to support data transformation and integration needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable deliverables and ensure the seamless flow of data across systems. This role requires a blend of functional/data analytics skills and technical expertise to drive data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Matillion to transform and load data into Redshift.
• SQL Mastery: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models to support efficient and effective data integration and analysis.
• Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, insights, and anomalies to support business decision-making.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and deliver data solutions that meet business objectives.
• Data Visualization: Utilize Power BI to create and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports (good to have).
• AWS Cloud Integration: Leverage AWS cloud services, including S3, Redshift, and Airflow, to enhance data processing and storage capabilities (good to have).
• Python Scripting: Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate data processing tasks and workflows (good to have).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with ETL development using Matillion.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience in data modeling and designing efficient data structures.
• Demonstrated data analysis skills with the ability to derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, Redshift, and Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
